RALEIGH, N.C. — North Carolina lottery players will soon have two new instant games to scratch off.
The games "$25,000 PayDay" and "Fast 5's" will be available to players across the state starting Tuesday.
"These two instant scratch-off games will be in addition to the four already available to players," said Tom Shaheen, executive director. "We are very pleased with the sales we have had so far and we are extremely excited about the funds generated for education in North Carolina."
The proceeds from the lottery will be used to pay for pre-kindergarten programs for at-risk 4-year-olds, class size reduction, school construction and provide college scholarships to need-based individuals.
