Annual Eno Festival Kicks Off In Durham

Posted Updated

DURHAM — The banks along the Eno River were alive with the sound of music Saturday.

Saturday was day one of the three-day festival at the Eno City Park in Durham. The proceeds from the festival benefit the Eno River Association.

The group purchases land along the Eno River. The land is then sold or transferred back to the state for inclusion in the Eno River State Park. The park is now up to about 2800 acres.

The festival continues Sunday.
