Crews Fight Fire In Umstead State Park

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh fire crews fought a small fire in Umstead State Park Friday afternoon.

The fire, which covered nearly 3.5 acres, was in an area of the park near Ebenezer Church Road.

The fire started around 3:45 p.m. and crews had it contained to one acre by 4:45 p.m.
