Investigation Continues Into ECU Dorm Fire

Posted Updated

GREENVILLE, N.C. — Some students who live in an East Carolina University dorm damaged by fire are back in their rooms while others are still waiting to return.

The third floor is still off-limits because it sustained heavy fire and smoke damage.

Investigators are not sure what sparked the fire Wednesday at Clement Hall in Greenville.

However, they said it was not an electrical problem.
