DURHAM — As anticipation builds towards the opening of the Triangle's newest shopping center, a Durham company is making it easy to see the progress under way at The Streets of Southpoint.

The first phase of the Web site allows visitors to follow the construction process, view artists renderings of the mall and see photos. It will eventually include job openings and grand opening information.
In January, the site will contain a searchable merchandise database, community information, and web cameras.
The 1.3 million square foot mall is located off Interstate 40 and Fayetteville Road in Durham. It will feature more than 140 shops and restaurants, a 16-screen movie theatre, and an open-air entertainment area.
