DURHAM, N.C. — A Duke student rescued from an Arizona cave may never return to school.
David Shipman's mother told WRAL that her son has severe amnesia and cannot remember most of his life.
Shipman vanished last week after rappelling into a cave at Fort Huachuca. Rescuers found him a day later.
