has arrested three people and recovered over $100,000 in stolen property.

The sheriff's office say it conducted two search warrants in the Brogden Community and also the WilsonsMills Community.

Deputies say as part of their investigation, they bought some of the stolen equipment, which led them to a location on Brogden Road.

Craig Franklin Williams, Carie Hope Stephens and Michael (Mike) Lee McGee, all of the same Smithfield address, face numerous felony and possession of stolen property charges.

Gooseneck horse trailers, flatbed trailers, constructionequipment, and farm equipment were among the items stolen from Wake, Moore, and Beaufortcounties.

The suspects in this case are no strangers to Raleigh police. They are also suspects in a string of construction site thefts that date back a year and a half.

The sheriff's office says more arrests are expected as its investigation continues.
