CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — A woman involved in an accident with a truck carrying cement died Tuesday.
The accident happened on Old Plank Road late Monday morning in Cumberland County when, state troopers say, the truck's driver, Derrick Thompson, crossed the center line and hit Melanie Locklear's car head-on.
Thompson could face charges. The investigation is still pending.
