CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — Cumberland County authorities have arrested a Robeson County man and charged him with taking indecent liberties with a 14-year old girl.
James Harold Freeman
, 65, of Parkton, N.C., is being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond.
Authorities said Freeman is a registered sex offender.
Detectives arrested Freeman on March 12 in Parkton after the victim reported the crime to authorities.
Authorities are still investigating Freeman and additional charges are pending, they said.
