BellSouth Unveils Nationwide Data Service for Businesses

is rolling out a nationwide data services for businesses.

The building of virtual private networks for clients is based on multi-protocol label switching technology. BellSouth's offering is intended to help businesses link offices located around the country through one network without having to purchase point-to-point circuits or have all traffic located through one hub.

Clients can also set priorities for traffic in four different classes: real-time and interactive for voice and video, priority business and best effort for data and web access.
