FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are investigating the death of a man found in a house Sunday afternoon.
Authorities were called to a house on Lands End Road in the Tonbridge Subdivision just after 1 p.m., where they found Anthony McRae, 52, shot.
Emergency crews could not save McRae.
Police would not say if the shooting was an accident, a homicide or a suicide, only that they were investigating the death.
