White's Stock Soaring in NBA Draft

CHARLOTTE — Quick, name the players from North Carolina colleges expected to be picked in the first round of the NBA draft. Don't forget Rodney White.
Most experts have the freshman forward from Charlotte slated as a top ten selection, shortly after Duke's Shane Battier but before North Carolina's Joseph Forte.
White is a six-foot-nine forward who averaged 18 points and six rebounds last season.
Scouts projected him as a mid-first-round pick when he initially declared himself eligible for the draft. But his recent workouts for scouts and team officials have his stock soaring.
White says at least 11 teams have seen him work out, and at least 15 eventually will see him.
