Mi-Co Supports New Ultra-Mobile Personal Computers

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC — Mi-Co

, a developer of mobile data capture solutions, will support recently unveiled ultra-mobile person computers (UMPCs) that run Windows XP Tablet Edition.

UMPCs were touted at a major international trade show in Hannover, Germany, this week.

Microsoft's Mobile PC and Table PC partner programs include Mi-Co's Mi-Forms software. Mi-Co is part of Microsoft's early adopter program.

Microsoft disclosed details about the UMPCs, which are small and lightweight but include advanced features such as touch-screens, at the trade show.
