ROXBORO, N.C. — Two people died in a mobile home fire Friday afternoon, fire officials said.
The fire happened just after 1 p.m. at 181 Boonie Blue Lane near Roxboro, said John Gentry, Roxboro fire chief.
Two people were trapped inside the home and died.
The victims were a woman in her 30s and a man in his 50s, Gentry said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, Gentry said.
