ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — A suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting death of a Rocky Mount man.
Police were called out to a house on Hill Street at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. When they arrived, they found 20-year-old Ray Lovette Jr. dead.
Authorities have arrested 42-year-old Tonja Fredericka Bailey.
There is no word on a possible motive.
