RALEIGH, NC — Bozco TV
will build a manufacturing facility for plasma display panel (PDP) and liquid crystal display (LCD) televisions and monitors in Lumberton, NC, Governor Mike Easley said Thursday.
The 95,000 facility will result in the creation of 104 jobs with an average weekly wage expected to be $687.
"Our commitment is to produce premium quality televisions here in the United States at a time when other manufacturers have outsourced overseas," said Bozidar Racich, president and chief executive officer of Bozco TV. "We chose North Carolina because of its business-friendly environment."
The state will provide $250,000 in incentives to Bozco TV.
Bozco TV, which says it is the only PDP and LCD television manufacturer in the U.S., will manufacture plasma and LCD televisions in Lumberton.
Bozco TV is based in Illinois.
