APEX, N.C. — Firefighers put out a brush fire that broke out near an Apex gas station.
At around 9 a.m. Wednesday, the fire spread to the Kangaroo station on James Street.
The roof of the building was burned, but there was no danger of the fire getting to the pumps.
One firefighter was slightly hurt by falling debris. He was taken to the hospital as a preecaution.
