RALEIGH — "The Prayer of Jabez" is a new book based on an old prayer. The prayer of 32 words found in the Old Testament has sparked sales of more than 4 million copies.
Inside, there are directions on how to use the prayer. Some say it has changed their lives, while others say they are not quite sure.
Either way, what was written thousands of years ago is getting a lot of attention today.In the book, the author issues a challenge to pray the Prayer of Jabez for 30 days, then decide for yourself if it is making a difference in your life.
