LILLINGTON, N.C. — An elderly Harnett County man was found safe Saturday afternoon after disappearing from a Lillington retirement home early Saturday morning.
Alfred James Ellison, 68, was last seen at Pinecrest Gardens
on Old U.S. 421 in Lillington
around at 2 a.m. Saturday.
Authorities said he had been located in a wooded area near the nursing home shortly after 6 p.m. Although he had no injuries, he was taken to Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn for a medical evaluation.
