CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — A Robeson County teacher faces charges for trying to supplement her income illegally.
Cumberland County deputies said Kristy West conspired to deal opium or heroin. She teaches English one county away at South Robeson High School.
West worked in the classroom for more than a decade. Her bail is now set at $15,000.
