Motricity Names New Executive To Lead eReader Division

Elizabeth Mackey, a former executive with Audible, Inc. and Franklin Electronic Publishers, is the new vice president and general manager for Motricity's

eReader

division.

Motricity

is a provider of mobile content solutions. Its eReader division focuses on electronic book publishing.

"With her proven entrepreneurial expertise and in-depth knowledge of ebook technology and licensing, Elizabeth is a crucial addition to our eReader team," said Ryan Wuerch, chairman and chief executive officer for Motricity. "She will strategically develop and lead Motricity's efforts to provide the most compelling mobile commerce ebook experience for consumers."

Mackey will direct business development and operations for eReader, which offers a variety of fiction and non-fiction books, newspapers and magazines that have been formatted for reading on hand-held devices.

Mackey was vice president of content business development for Audible. She acted as vice president of business development and publisher relations for Franklin Electronic Publishers.
