WAYNE COUNTY, N.C. — Nearly $200,000 in cash, and almost $90,000 worth of drugs and guns were seized from one Wayne County home as a result of a joint investigation by authorities in Wilson and Wayne counties.
Authorities found cocaine, as well as three firearms and more than $189,000 in cash at the Pikeville home.
Maria Gonzales now faces several charges, including possession of cocaine and child abuse. Two other suspects -- Salvador Guzman-Rodriguez and Jacinto Reyes Ramirez -- are also in custody.
