Fort Bragg May Be Affected By Military Downsizing

FORT BRAGG — Big changes are coming for the military.
Next week, U.S. Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld is expected to announce a new military strategy. The new plan would abandon the strategy of having enough troops and weapons to fight two wars at once.
With changing technology and no clear enemy, the overall size of the military is expected to change.
"We are a new Army, so we think harder and get things done better and quicker than it used to be," says soldier Jordan Wheeler.
The Army may be the most affected by the changes, but it is still too early to know how, if at all, they will impact Fort Bragg.
