Mike Zafirovski, the new chief executive officer of Nortel, and Dan Warmenhoven, CEO of Network Appliance, are among the speakers scheduled to participate in the

North Carolina Technology Association's

annual CEO Conversation event.

Also scheduled to deliver keynote speeches during the conference are William Johnson, president and chief operating officer of Progress Energy; Frank Drendel, chairman and CEO of Commscope, and Tom Skelton, CEO of Misys Healthcare Systems.

The conference is set for April 20 at the Washington Duke Inn in Durham.

"We are thrilled to have such a distinguished group of keynote speakers at this year's CEO Conversation," said Joan Myers, president and CEO of NCTA. "This annual event engages senior executives in discussions about leadership and technology. It also presents a unique opportunity to facilitate new relationships by offering executives a venue to share best practices and learn how to create competitive advantages for their organizations."
