CLAYTON, N.C. — Clayton police are looking for a driver involved in a serious hit-and-run wreck Friday night.
The accident occurred around 8:40 p.m. on Friday evening at the intersection of Guy and Winston Roads. Daniel Pruitt, 19, was riding a motorcycle on Guy Road and was waiting to turn onto Winston Road when he was rear-ended. The driver who hit him fled the scene and was last seen traveling down Guy Rd toward Wake County.
Police believe the vehicle involved in the collision is a 1991-1994 Buick 4-door sedan, either charcoal gray or grayish-blue in color. It should have significant damage to the front grill and the right headlight.
