KNIGHTDALE, N.C. — Authorities have identified the woman who died in a traffic accident near Knightdale.
A sport utility vehicle and two cars were involved in the accident near Buffaloe and Lucas Roads.
Authorities said the SUV crossed the center line, sideswiped one car and hit another head-on.
Mamie Lucas, a driver in one of the cars, died in the accident. Charges are pending.
