DURHAM, N.C. — A man is in the hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a car in Durham.
The incident happened on Chapel Hill Road near Gunter Street.
Investigators said Clarence Sanders Jr. was hurt. Police said it does not appear the driver was under the influence of alcohol or speeding.
Sanders is at the hospital listed in critical condition.
