RALEIGH — A collision Sunday morning at the corner of Hargett and McDowell Streets in downtown Raleigh has sent one man to the hospital.
Police said a truck ran a red light and hit a firetruck.
The driver of the truck, Donald James Wood of Clayton, was taken to the hospital.
Wood is listed in critical condition at WakeMed.
No one on the firetruck was injured.
