RICH SQUARE, N.C. — A day care dilemma in Northampton County is over -- at least for now.
A program that offers subsidized day care to the working poor came up about $200,000 short, but Northampton County commissioners modified the county's budget to come up with enough money to fund the program.
The move keeps more than a dozen day-care centers operating until May.
