CHATHAM COUNTY, N.C. — Three people have been arrested in connection with an investigation at a Chatham County convenience store.
Members of the Chatham County Sheriff's Office, the Pittsboro Police Department and North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Unit were investigating at the Snack Stop convenience store in Pittsboro after receiving reports of clerks selling alcohol to underage people.
Authorities seized the hard drive of a computer at the store and temporarily closed the store.
Officers arrested 21-year-old Yoseph Kaid and 31-year-old Misty Ann Paisant and charged them both with selling alcohol to underaged persons. They were arrested without incident.
Authorities also arrested 31-year-old Ramzy Kaid. He is charged with resisting, delay and obstruction of an officer when he would not comply with instructions from law enforcement officers.
