FAYETTEVILLE — Fayetteville Mayor J.L. Dawkins says he is not going anywhere, despite what the city's paper says.

Dawkins says his chemotherapy treatments for prostate cancer have increased, and he has cut back on some public appearances.

However, he is not considering stepping down, even temporarily.

Dawkins says he and his doctor agree that he can still continue to serve as Mayor. -->
