<b>HOLLY SPRINGS</b> — One person has died after a car accident in Holly Springs Saturday night.

The highway patrol says 44-year-old Raymond Pearson crossed the center lane and hit another car along Highway 55.

Pearson was killed and two people in the other car were seriously hurt.

Shelton Allen is in stable condition at WakeMed; his daughter is in serious but stable condition.

The accident happened about 8:30 Saturday night.
