RALEIGH — If you have not mailed your holiday gifts, you will pay more for waiting until the last minute.
Wednesday is the last day to ship by two day mail and get your package delivered before Christmas.
There is still time to get your gifts anywhere in the country by Monday, but it will require next day mail, which could double your shipping costs.
"We've often had people ask for the presents back. That happens once in a while," says Sam Krishna of Quik Pack. "But most people know, at this point, they don't have a lot of options and they have to spend the money."
You can save some money by packing your gifts yourself. That way, you will not have to pay for boxes or packing supplies.
