WILSON — The mother of the two-year-old boy who accidentally shot himself has been charged with leaving the gun where the child could find it.
Denarrius Langston found his mother's pistol on the couch last October and fired it once, shooting himself just above the right eye. He is walking again, but deputies say he is not talking much yet.
Judy Langston faces a single misdemeanor. Deputies say she is doing a tremendous job helping Denarrius recover.
