Capitol Broadcasting Company Recognized For Cutting-Edge Technology

The North Carolina Electronics and Information Technology Association recognized Capitol Broadcasting and other companies Thursday for their cutting-edge technology.(WRAL-TV5 News)
RALEIGH — There were big honors Thursday for some of the Triangle's top technology companies.

TheNorth Carolina Electronics and Information Technology Associationrecognized more than 20 companies for their innovation and cutting-edge technology.

WRAL-TV's parent company,Capitol Broadcasting, was recognized as Communications Company of the Year, in part for being a leader inhigh-definition television. CBC president and CEO Jim Goodmon was presented the Outstanding Achievement Award.

SAS, BuildNet and RedHat were some of the other companies that were honored.
