RALEIGH — Two teenagers are in trouble for e-mailing a threat to East Wake High School.
The Wake County Sheriff's Office arrested 18-year-old Ricky Blinson and his younger brother, Roy. Deputies say the Blinsons gave a partial confession to e-mailing a bomb threat to East Wake High School last week.
"This is one of the first cases of this type we've had where any kind of threat was sent in by computer," says Maj. Danny Bellamy. As far as to a school, it's the first"
The Blinsons could get up to two years in prison if they are convicted on the most serious charge. They apparently e-mailed the threat from home.
The brothers left East Wake High School in the Spring.
