FAYETTEVILLE — People living in one Fayetteville neighborhood want city leaders to put the brakes on speeders.
Bill Logan has lived in his Remington subdivision for the past six years. He says the speeding is so bad that he is afraid to take his three-year-old daughter for a walk.
"People will fly right by you here, and I'm just not comfortable," he says.
Logan has collected signatures from everyone in his neighborhood asking city leaders for speed bumps on their streets.
Logan voiced his concerns to the city council Monday night. Mayor Milo McBride promised to look into the problem.
