BURLINGTON — The third defendant in the death of 10-year-old Tiffany Long of Burlington is expected to go to trial today.
Harold Jones is accused of raping and killing Tiffany near her home two years ago.
The other young defendants were tried earlier and are serving long prison sentences.
The trial is scheduled for Cumberland County Superior Court due to pretrial publicity in Alamance County.
