Father Will Not Face Jail Time After Hitting Children With Bat

DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham father who disciplined his children with a baseball bat will not serve jail time.

Michael Wilson pleaded guilty to three assault charges.

Wilson was sentenced to one year probation and must go to anger management class.

Lawyers told a judge Wilson hit one son in the face and another in the arm.
