Hearing Into Proposed Sewage Plant Postponed

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — A fight over a proposed wastewater treatment plant scheduled to head to court has been postponed.

For months, New Hill residents fought plans to build a sewage plant in their town. Now, the Community Association is suing Cary, Apex, Morrisville and Holly Springs.

The group claims the site selection was flawed and that the towns didn't follow their ordinances.

A new hearing will likely be the week of Feb. 27.
