WAKE FOREST — Approximately 20 people were evacuated from their homes in Wake Forest Monday morning due to a gas leak.
The leak occurred near the intersection of Capital Boulevard and St. Catherine Drive.
The residents were evacuated after 7 a.m. and were allowed to return at about 8 a.m.
