The accident happened on Highway 15, north of Oxford.
On Saturday, 17-year-old Steven Hayes died in the hospital.
The highway patrol says a car driven by 16-year-old Alicia Boyter went off the right edge of the roadway, then veered back and crossed the center lane, hitting a tractor-trailer head on.
The crash also killed Boyter.
Both vehicles burst into flames. The crash halted traffic on Highway 15 for seven hours.
The tractor-trailer wss headed to a Winn-Dixie in Clarksville, VA. It was loaded with canned goods. The truck had to be emptied before it could be righted.
The truck driver was not seriously injured.
