VANCE COUNTY — A pair of Vance County deputies had a close call Tuesday while helping Henderson police search for a suspect.
Two deputies crashed into each other on Tinkerton Street. The deputies were among nearly a dozen officers looking for a man who had just robbed a nearby convenience store.
Henderson police say the deputies involved in the accident were treated and released from the hospital. They are still searching for the robbery suspect.
