RALEIGH — Some Pearl Jam fans rocked for a good cause Sunday afternoon in Raleigh.
Drifting Through was the featured act at a benefit concert at the Cactus Flower restaurant, near Crabtree Valley Mall.
What began as a way for fans of Pearl Jam to get together before Sunday night's big concert in Greensboro turned into something a little more special for a couple of Wake County organizations.
The fans decided to turn the gathering into a party to benefit Wake County Protective and Foster Care Services.
Once the money is counted, organizers of the local benefit concert hope they have raised several hundred dollars for the Wake County service groups.
