<b>WAKE COUNTY</b> — A Wake County store clerk turned the tables on an alleged armed robber.

Police say Samuel Koonce, 39, of Raleigh, tried to rob the Old Garner Grocery store on Old Garner Road at 1 a.m. Friday.

Police say Koonce pulled out a knife, but the store clerk was able to keep him detained until help arrived.
