Rich Square Investigators Continue to Look for Leads in Murder Case

RICH SQUARE — Authorities are asking for the public's help in solving the murder of Rich Square's police chief.

Chief Joe White was killed while on patrol in the Northampton County town almost two weeks ago.

So far, investigators have not had any leads with a composite of a man suspected of committing the crime.

Deputies are asking anyone who may have been at the Family Foods IGA or Red Apple Convenience Store, between noon and 2 p.m. on July 16,/ to contact them.

Anyone with information about the shooting should call the Northampton County Sheriff's Office at252-534-2611or the State Bureau of Investigation at1-800-334-3000.
