Friday, theState Bureau of Investigationreleased an updated version of a composite sketch of the suspect wanted in the murder of Chief Joe White.
White was shot and killed Sunday afternoon while on patrol in Rich Square.
Investigators have also released a picture of a Ford Explorer similar to the one the suspect is believed to have been driving.
People in the Northampton County town paid their respects to their murdered police chief at a public viewing Friday at Revelle Hill Baptist Church in Conway.
The funeral will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Creecy Elementary in Rich Square. The burial will follow the funeral at White-Risper Memorial Cemetery in Woodland.
