CLAYTON, N.C. — Firefighters and police were searching Monday night for a person missing after a boat capsized in a pond in the Plantation Pointe subdivision in Johnston County, east of Clayton.
Officials confirmed that three males were in the boat when it overturned and two made it to shore. They did not disclose the age of the three people.
Firefighters from the Wendell and Eastern Wake departments brought boats to the scene to conduct the search, county officials said.
