RALEIGH — Raleigh police now have the power to make people party a little more quietly.
The Raleigh City Council adopted a new ordinance Tuesday that would crackdown on big bashes like the annual Brent Road back-to-school party.
Officers can now declare the loud parties a public nuisance, which means they can arrest partyers, party hosts and property owners.
