RALEIGH — N.C. State'sCollege of Veterinary Medicinein Raleigh is getting ready to hold its annualopen housethis weekend.
The college will throw open its doors Saturday, April 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at no charge.
The day will be filled withevents. Visitors can milk a pow, sit on a pony, learn about turtles and more, including a teddy bear clinic.
The open house is on the school's campus at the corner of Blue Ridge Road and Hillsborough Street.
The college is definitely in a mood to celebrate. "U.S. News and World Report" has just ranked the veterinary school fourth best in the nation.
